I earned an MBA degree in Finance and Operations Management from the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Business and chemical engineering and chemistry degrees from the University of Washington. I believe in continuing education and have Graduate Realtor Institute, Certified Negotiation Expert and Senior Real Estate Specialist designations. I am a member of the National Association of Realtors® (NAR), Kitsap County Association of Realtors (KCAR), Commercial Broker's Association (CBA), Kitsap Commercial Investment Brokers (KCIB), and Northwest MLS (NWMLS).
I grew up in a well-known Kitsap real estate family, earning my broker’s and managing broker’s license at an early age, and worked with my mother, retired broker June Wurden, in the early years of my career. Past positions include Finance Supervisor for the ARCO Cherry Point Refinery, Finance Consultant and Camp Services Manager for ARCO Alaska, project engineer for Chevron USA, and General Manager for the Bremerton Tennis and Athletic Club.
I feel fortunate to be able to experience a lifestyle, friends, family and business relationships which encompass both Kitsap and Jefferson counties. As a certified tennis professional, I enjoy volunteering to teach after school tennis to elementary and middle school students and lends my finance and analysis skills to school district finance committees and various non-profit organizations. Volunteering and contributing to community is an ethic I feel strongly about, and agents at Windermere share that ethic and provide support through the Windermere Foundation.
